A native of Southern California, Pastor Dale Fillmore received his B.S. in Bible and Religion from Arlington College (Long Beach, CA). Dale continued on to Anderson School of Theology before he took his first pastorate in Libby, MT.

After serving as Pastor for twenty-seven years in various US States, he and his wife, Connie, accepted the position of Church Development and Leadership Training in Northern Brazil. During the thirteen years of service in Brazil, Dale acquired his M.A. in Leadership Studies from Azusa Pacific University. Also, he and his wife became the Academic Directors and teachers of a new seminary (ITBT – Amazonia) in Itaituba, Para, Brazil.

Dale retired for a few years following his time in Brazil, but found he didn’t like it. He then worked as a guide in Indiana Caverns (Corydon, IN), and filled the position of Interim Pastor for several congregations. Finally, in 2017, he returned to full time ministry as Senior Pastor of the New Day Church (formerly known as the Okmulgee First Church of the Nazarene).

Dale’s hobbies include most all sports. His favorite teams include the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. He plays saxophone, sings, and strums a little guitar. He is an avid photographer. He loves historical fiction – especially as it relates to the American frontier and the era of the Mountain Men. Those who know him best say that, “He is an ornery tease.” (All in fun – of course!)
